Our Custom Construction Process
Approvals are now finalised, post-contract variations have been confirmed, and you’ve chosen your fittings and finishes. It’s time to start building your home! Here’s how we do it.
TRADE SCHEDULING & SUPPLIER ORDERS
Trades and materials required at the beginning of construction are organised in preparation for our move to site.
MOVE TO SITE
Construction proceeds through the following key stages.
Base
Your block is prepared for building to begin. This includes site clearance, excavation, plumbing pipework and drainage, power supply to site, and slab construction.
FRAME
As wall frames and roof trusses go up, you’ll see the structural framework of your home begin to take shape.
enclosed
Also known as the Lock-Up stage, the exterior of your home is constructed including the roof, gutters, walls, windows, external doors, and service rough-ins including plumbing, air con and electrical.
Fixing
Now the interior of your home comes together, with subcontractors completing plastering, waterproofing to wet areas, cabinetry, woodwork and tiling.
Practical Completion
It’s time for the finishing touches, including painting and flooring. All final plumbing fixtures and electrical fittings are installed now.
Handover
Arguably the best stage, today is the day you’ll receive your keys. All the final touches are now complete, ready for your arrival. Welcome home!
